Some information about this video presentation.
The language used for the sparse dialogue is Aramaic - the language spoken in Israel in the first century.
The lullaby after the birth is a song built on Psalm 27:1 "The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? While we have no record of Mary singing such a song in the Biblical record, moms often sang to their children and Mary knew the Scriptures as she framed her song of praise to the Lord in Luke 1:46-55 from Hannah's song of praise in 1 Samuel 2:1-10.
Inns were not like our hotels or motels; they were homes with a courtyard and large gathering rooms and people slept on the floors and outside in a gated courtyard as weather permitted. The stable was the only place not occupied by people, giving a bit of privacy for the birth.
Men and women were shepherds. Whole families were involved in the family business of tending sheep.
The Wisemen came to worship Jesus when He and Joseph and Mary were located in a house. A period of up to two years passed from the time of the birth until their visit.
