Second Samuel begins the time of David's reign over Judah and then over all Israel. In this middle section of his life, David continues to learn of the Lord's greatness, grace, and mercy. Lessons from his life help us as we walk through the days of our lives. Though the elements of life have changed, the nature of human beings is still the same and the lessons from his life span the centuries to our present time.
